Pale Moon 27.7.0
Enjoy!

Note that the application name has reverted to NewMoon (from PaleMoon) for now, due to configuration option changes, we'll enable the release branding once we get the last couple of features like autoupdate fixed.

Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
Thanks, sugis!
I'm glad to see the UI bugs I encountered when I built Pale Moon unstable don't seem to be present.

Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
You two need to get together.. Perhaps with the both of you we can get Mac to be official.
Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
Working great on mid-2012 MacBook Pro running 10.10.5. No problems at all, very fast. Thanks sugis!

Why are the Security and Tabs tabs blank in Preferences? The other sections have content.
Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
Working as expected on my Mid 2009 MacBook Pro running 10.9.5. That is except for one tinny insignificant glitch. For some reason the theme I am using was unenabled upon updating. I had to simply re-enable it and restart my browser and ever since all is well again. Thanks sugis for all you do to bring us these updates.

Silly me. I forgot to change the language pack. When I updated it, the content appeared.Goodydino wrote:Why are the Security and Tabs tabs blank in Preferences? The other sections have content.
Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
Working good on an older macbook pro with high sierra 10.13.2
3 quirks I've seen:
- Lavafox V2-blue ver 2.5 (which I use on PaleMoon for windows) works but the title bar for the palemoon app becomes non-grippable. The min/max buttons on the title bar work fine, though. (Dark Moon 1.7.0 works fine so I'm good there!)
- rog.asus.com renders fine but clicking on any of the article links doesn't do anything (running Noscript with googleadservices and googletagmanager but I had those same settings with firefox on mac and it worked fine. Running firefox compatibility mode for the user agent) I think I encountered that on another website too but don't recall the specifics. Some layout issues with the bitbucket website we use for work where a row of buttons on the right of the screen (approve, merge, edit, decline, etc) end up on different lines - generally 98% of where I go works as expected.
- Running forecastfox plugin fine but when trying to adjust the placement of the forecastfox toolbar, dragging it would drag the entire palemoon app - had to maximize palemoon then move.
Mostly it's all minor stuff - great work guys - works MUCH better than firefox 56.2 did on this mac!

Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
This is very interesting. By non-grippable, can I assume you mean you cannot move the window by clicking and dragging on the titlebar? This is always the case for me (not theme-dependent, and safe mode does not change it). The workaround is to hover over the top edge of the titlebar (so the vertical resizing arrow appears), then drag the window horizontally, and then move the window as desired. Sierra 10.12.6. It's very interesting that this issue only manifests for you when using a specific theme....Skywise wrote:Working good on an older macbook pro with high sierra 10.13.2

Yeah, I just switched back and I can resize from the title bar (with the vertical resizing arrow) but clicking on the title bar and trying to drag does nothing.SpockMan02 wrote:This is very interesting. LavaFox v2 - blue ver 25.0 (which is .2 or .3 versions behind the latest because anything after 25.0 breaks stuff in PaleMoon on windows - maybe not on Mac? I should try that)
Re: Pale Moon 27.7.0
update - the rog.asus.com issue is observed on the windows version too. So that one isn't mac specific.

https://github.com/MoonchildProductions ... issues/900 - As long as none can be found to implement that one, parts of that and other pages which require this ecmascript specification will partly malfunction. Only solution.. Use another browser for pages like that.Skywise wrote:update - the rog.asus.com issue is observed on the windows version too. So that one isn't mac specific.
