Meltdown and Spectre mitigation on OS X Pale Moon builds

Unread post by verdant » 2018-01-05, 13:26

I am presuming that the OS X Pale Moon builds by Sugis do/will mirror the Meltdown and Spectre mitigations in the official Pale Moon browser versions including 27.7....since an Apple software update for OS X versions older than El Capitan (OS X 10.11) is likely to be wishful thinking.......

Of course the mitigations (already in place) for Spectre in Pale Moon apply to all platforms. This is not living in any architecture or operating system specific code.
