Just as another data point for you: I did see the abbreviated Application Menu (just the Quit item) on first launch of Pale Moon 27.6.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.8. But the restart fix always previously worked fine for me to fix that, and did this time as well. I don't know why the issue still initially appeared for me under 10.6.8 when another poster reported it solved for them on 10.6.8, but as the restart always worked fine for me to fix it, it's never been an issue for me. Just glad to have an updated browser that still works in Snow Leopard. Thanks for your work on it!

sugis, are you absolutely sure that the fix was included into this 27.6.2 build (20171201151044)? I checked it several times and only 27.6.1 (yesterday's build) works well for me, but in 27.6.2 the menu issue is back again

Drat, I misread the output, and the previous build without the fix was still live (the upload failed). And of course the problem didn't manifest for me when I checked it. Sorry about that, new build up in the same location.

It seems the old build (20171201151044) is stuck somewhere in a cache:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Sat, 02 Dec 2017 06:34:01 GMT
Content-Type: application/octet-stream
Content-Length: 40606386
Last-Modified: Fri, 01 Dec 2017 20:12:02 GMT

Finally got it:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Sat, 02 Dec 2017 07:04:35 GMT
Content-Type: application/octet-stream
Content-Length: 40605392

This build (20171202021832) works as expected now, thank you

It's now returning a much newer date, so it should be the build now. At least that's what I see. I can upload it under a new name if necessary.

Under 10.9.5, all menus are visible on first launch. Congrats, sugis. :D

Checked back in this morning to see if my data point post (my first post to this forum) got posted, to find the issue already diagnosed and solved! Done and done. Thanks all. Downloaded the new 27.6.2, full Application Menu present on first launch, Mac OS X 10.6.8.

Thanks for the latest build, sugis.

Despite my previous claims about having resolved drawing issues on 10.6.8, there are still some with this release - none that would stop me from using it, however. I've been looking into why this happens on Snow Leopard as well as trying to get an environment put together for building PaleMoon myself.

What I've initially discovered is a little worrying for me: my 10.6.8 seems to have some issues (library versions amongst them) and I suspect those have arisen from my varying attempts to defang the AppleStore (or whatever it's now called) from getting in my way.

So... I'm now waiting for an opportunity to completely rebuild 10.6 from the ground up before contributing anything further. A pain because I still use this Mac for a good portion of my work (the remainder is in VBox VMs, which I can easily export to another non-Mac computer).

Keep up the good work everyone.

Hullo,
It looks as though you are using unstable branding for 27.6.2. While the desktop icon is grey, in the "About Pale Moon" window is red, and when you use the Splashed! extension, the red moon appears. My understanding is that you are supposed to use the stable branding. (And my guess is that the moon should always be grey since this is anunofficial build, but I am not member of the development teams so don't quote me on that.)
