Remote font renderer problem on 10.11

Unread post by CHris Hitarori » 2024-04-16, 09:20

reservix.de is missing glyphs on Mac OS X 10.11 with PaleMoon 33.0.1 and 33.0.2.

Works on Windows 10, works on macOS Ventura and Sonoma.

When I set gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled = false, the page renders (with fallback fonts), so this is probably a problem with the font renderer for remote fonts PaleMoon uses on 10.11 El Capitan. The problematic fonts is at

Interesting... My machine with 10.11 is currently at a remote location. I should be there next week and I'll try to reproduce the problem there.

I was able to reproduce this behavior on my 10.11 El Capitan machine. Didn't see anything obviously wrong though... will investigate.
