it depends entirely on what the captcha does in its scripting. you can select image elements programmatically, too, or cause a selection if not handling the click event properly

Issue persists in PM 33.2.0 ..
(Since @Enobarbous has confirmed that this issue exists in Windows too, perhaps this thread should be now moved to the Web Compatibility section for better visibility and inputs?)

I still cannot reproduce the issue. The demo page passes with flying colours (on Windows on my normal profile); so I'm not really convinced this is a straight web compat issue. I'll move it to browser support though.
