More bad news is that my main PC (which I use for building PM) is acting up .

I don't know if it's a hardware or software issue yet. This will likely increase the delay in getting the next SSE version out.
Moonchild: S'OK. Your post was already there. I just missed it.
Drugwash: That's the plan.

I hear you. My whole house is acting up lately, can't fix much being unemployed since forever and in less than a month I'll turn 50 which kinda deepens the constant depression I'm living in.
Hopefully you'll manage to fix your computer soon without any (collateral) damage. May the Force be with you!

Maybe
freelancing is the answer for you... Your English seems quite good from what I have read, so translate or write something. Or learn programming, for example front end web development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. There are so many wonderful free resources on the web. It's not that hard and
it's never too late. The 9-to-5 job is dying. Go solo. Good luck!
Sorry guys for off-topic, just trying to help our fellow PM lover.
@Mercury
Thank you for keeping the SSE build alive and well!

It's a bit more complicated than it shows but nevertheless thank you for your good intentions.

All your builds up to and including v26.3.3 SSE have been working great!! Thanks for taking on this project and all the work you put into it. Thanks also for the quick turnaround in keeping pace with the updates. Keep up the good work! No problems to report.

Will (or perhaps the better word is "Can") Pale Moon version 27 be made into an SSE build? If so, will it run on XP? I ask for the benefit of PM users who are still on XP, and also for my own curiosity.

Yes, this would be my question also!

It can probably be made. I do plan to try.
If v27 does not support Windows XP, then compiling it for a different CPU architecture won't change that.
I expect that v27.SSE will exist, but it will not run on WinXP.

According to Moonchild
here:
Moonchild wrote:I'd also welcome any community effort that wants to take the mew milestone source code and creates a community build for XP from it -- but it will come with a few snags for the developers/maintainers that is more than a few tweaks or build configurations, though.
The good news though: The targeted compiler (VS2013CE) for the next milestone still offers XP as a target platform, so it's most certainly possible to make this happen, but main-line development and support will not be keeping XP into account any longer as a code consideration.
Maintainers will have to make code changes and be conscious about what is supported by the NT5 kernel.
So v27 will not support XP out of the box, but a 3rd party XP version might be possible with code changes.

If an XP-compatible v27 source is available, I will try to make an SSE build based on that.
However, maintaining a source branch like that is a responsibility I don't want. Someone else will have to do it.

I'm afraid the v27 source won't be XP compatible for a number of different reasons -- and those incompatibilities will only increase in number and severity.
If someone is interested in maintaining an XP version, they should start now and keep pace with its development to adjust code changes where needed for XP, or it'd become a mountain to climb.

Thank you very much, PM team!
Is it possible for you to build an old PM 3.6.32 version from
sourse code, but with
this annoying bug being fixed?

I'll be blunt: I'm not going to do that. I don't even know how much effort would be involved and I need to focus my attention elsewhere.
I know it's not a nice thing to hear.
