Avira Free Antivirus v. Trustport free Antiv

A couple of years ago it was mentioned that AVG was too paranoid for Pale Moon...
A chart i found put together by experts in the security sector placed Trustport as Proactive and Reactive as they come
Avira free was SLIGHTLY LESS PROACTIVE. which is what im using... since then someone has informed me trustport also
has a free version which i did not find initially..
as best i can tell its not "too paranoid"
Constructive knowles on this if anyone has given it thought
