I'm kinda liking that loxodont. Nice layout and lots of room for the page

Nice family of themes, I had one of the dark themes (either dark or darkest) running with 12.X maybe 13.X, IIRC with bluish Zoncolor icons, that would look like this Also rather nice, but didn't use Pale Moon back than.Tharn wrote:That's how vanilla Palemoon looks with the MediterraneanNight GTK theme and Maia icons.
thx. Room is sufficient, but the snap shows rather an optical illusion. Screensize is only 17".JodyThornton wrote:I'm kinda liking that loxodont. Nice layout and lots of room for the page
Size doesn't matter, as long as you know how to use it. Personally, I find many websites hard to read on a too large screen, that already starts with 1366 pixels. My favorite screen is a rather old 19" Dell with 1280x1024, perfect size for reading.loxodont wrote:thx. Room is sufficient, but the snap shows rather an optical illusion. Thanks Lootyhoof. I guess that wraps it up then.Lootyhoof wrote:It appears to be one of the Bloomind themes (of which FT DeepDark was originally part of); it's no longer available on AMO, in any case.
It just depends on how well you can see with your eyes. Since the white bright stuff hurts your eyes, you probably have very good eyesight. But I'm on the other side of the fence. With my poor eyesight, with me looking at your dark screenshot, I have a tough time picking up the words to read with the black text you prefer on your dark colored background. And I have a 24", 1920x1080 external monitor.Thehandyman1957 wrote:I always wonder how folks can handle such bright white stuff. It hurts my eyes just to look at it. Even when I'm surfing and reading, I use "No Squint" to turn the pages a medium gray so I can read them better. White is just to much contrast for me. Especially with the newer monitors with the high contrast ratio's.
Ahh, ya. I never thought about it that way but I can see your point. I also have a 22" 16:10 at native resolution of 1680x1050 32bit. I have to have one that still has the cfl tube because the glare from LEDs is too much for me. I would love to get a ISP screen but just can't afford it. It's on the wish list though.Night Wing wrote:It just depends on well you can see with your eyes. Since the white bright stuff hurts your eyes, you probably have very good eyesight.
