I have used DuckDuck for years, hoping it is slightly less invasive.
Do any of you have thoughts on that engine?
Is there a preferred engine, aside from using TOR which I imagine too many misuse.
I don't bother with a VPN, either. I'm suspicious they are not as effective as they claim.

I use DDG as my homepage in palemoon and have done so for a couple of years.I have been looking at swisscows as a viable alternative. Not certain if any forum members use it but it offers the same level of privacy if not more than DDG.

DDG is my default, if for no other reason than bang searches. I also ocassionally use more specialized engines like Wiby.
