Question about the new "About Pale Moon"

Unread post by Thehandyman1957 » 2019-05-02, 03:21

Just a quick question, I notice that when using the new "About Pale Moon" that if
you click on one of the links, the "About Pale Moon" window stays on top covering
the page you clicked on. Since This is now the main feature of the window, would it
not make more sense to have it either close it's self when a link is clicked or simply
move to the background like the update window does?

Just a thought.

The main feature of the window is displaying information. It always was.
Also, it should stay on top until the user is done with it and closes it. (if they want to open more than one of the linked documents from it, they should be able to without it implicitly closing.)

Yeah. It wasn't difficult to move it out of the way of the content, instead of xing it, should anyone want to.
I can just about see why someone might want to minimise it, in theory. But in practice, not really.
