Somehow I can't access my e-mail account in Interlink.

Unread post by RavAshi » 2019-02-14, 08:09

My e-mail account is: example@rocketmail.com - which rocketmail.com is Yahoo! Mail's domain.

SMTP server preferences:

I enter correct password but the process bar stuck in "Sending login information...."

Are there something to do to solve it?

Need I to activate IMAP preference buried in Yahoo Mail preferences?

You need to authenticate yourself -- you currently aren't (No authentication)
You need to set it to "Normal password" and then as user name your full e-mail address.

I have changed it but still I couldn't login to Yahoo Mail.

Anyone willing to create a Yahoo Mail account in rocketmail.com domain to test it?

In Gmail I need to activate IMAP/POP3 in Settings but I don't know with Yahoo Mail.

Instead of asking people here to create accounts etc -- you probably should ask for help or look up information on yahoo's website with regards to mail.

Does Yahoo even allow SMTP without a paid account? It's been years, but I read that Yahoo only allows you to use SMTP if you are a paid customer. Granted, if you are indeed a paid customer or it's now free then you have another issue.

Can you try this in portable Thunderbird and see if it will work in there?

You'll need to do this with Yahoo too.
