Yesterday it worked just fine, now this. I know it's not a Pale Moon problem, Chromium doesn't work either.

Same error at https://stackoverflow.com, there are probably even more. What's going on here?

Works here. What is the fingerprint of the certificate you are receiving? The correct (SHA-256) one for stackoverflow.com is 95:3A:A5:72:76:56:E5:1E:0F:EA:E6:72:E2:89:A1:2C:7D:27:16:59:56:04:33:DB:20:71:0B:FF:6A:61:4E:F6.

What antivirus are you using?
Does it have a feature to "inject" itself into the browser https: stream?
If you disable that "feature"?

I use Kaspersky AV and have disabled those "functions" right after the installation. I also tried it with completely disabled AV, no change. What is weird is it only happens with some sites (found another one, https://superuser.com), in case of an attack shouldn't it happen with all secure connections?

If your fingerprint is different it usually means that something is MITM-attacking your connection.

Seems my router was hacked. I restarted it after my last post and now everything works. Going to change my passwords now...

If it affects multiple browsers, you have to look into what might be intercepting your connections.
Most commonly this is locally-installed antivirus/internet security/endpoint protection software, but depending on your environment this may also be similar software installed/activated in your router, or even something redirecting your traffic by taking over DNS.
