New tab opened not by me

Saturday night something weird happened as I was browsing the web. A tab opened up that I did not initiate. After my state of being a little bit startled passed, I carefully searched the site I was on when this happened to see if there was a link that I accidentally clicked on. There was not (or it was extremely well hidden). Of course, this freaked me out, and what made it worse was that the new tab was the Queen song "Another One Bites the Dust" (from youtube). I thought, has my computer been compromised? So Sunday I did a complete reinstall of my OS. Thinking about it more, I thought it more likely that maybe somebody hacked into / compromised my modem/router, so I did a reset of that as well. Has this ever happened to anybody else? Is there anything more I could do?

That must be it, I was on the forums when it happened. BTW, I guess you recently changed the link to a Damn Yankees song?
