Let's say I've backed up a few profiles while using Pale Moon 28.0.0, a clean profile and a "full" one. How safe/recommended would it be it restore them if the installed Pale Moon version has been updated in the meanwhile, to 28.2.0 for example?
Is it best to always match a profile with the installed version, does it only matter for milestone changes (27 vs. 28) or is it completely irrelevant?

Re: Profile/application version relationship
Any profile that worked in 28.0 will work in 28.2.

Re: Profile/application version relationship
It generally only really matters with milestone changes, and "moving forward" should never be a problem, so using 28.0 profile loaded into 28.2 is perfectly fine.
