Feedback on performance vs firefox 32bit

Unread post by yereverluvinuncleber » 2018-09-16, 14:59

Just had reason to fire up firefox ESR 52.9 32bit to avoid some of the captcha-hell I've been encountering in PM 27.93 32bit and FF's captchas worked well. What really surprised me was how SLOW firefox was in rendering the pages, just text and a few simple images on http://www.visualbasicbooks.com/progVB6samplepg5.html and other pages in that blog. Opening the same pages in PM and they loaded in less than half the time, so much quicker that it was peceivable. I just had a inkling refreshed of why I moved to PM in the first place, friendly UI, desktop-proven, XUL compatible.
