Ghacks coverage article of the Basilisk rebase

Unread post by Sajadi » 2018-04-29, 15:10

https://www.ghacks.net/2018/04/29/re-ba ... r-released

So, it is cool that the Ghacks blog has decided to make also a coverage of the rebase of Basilisk. As usual a quite neutral review.

What do you expect? They don't cite anything actually wrong with us or anything constructive they are just copypasta attacks..

They are offended and threatened by our accomplishments and potential because it contradicts their conditioning and programming.

Good, just means we are on the right track.

What do you expect, Ghacks comments and Reddit are taken over/populated by Firefox trolls who seem to hate everything beyond plain conformity and seem to hate everything which is at least a little bit unique.

The more time progresses, the more a big part of recent Firefox community - same like Mozilla itself - can be taken less and less seriously as their behavior gets more and more embarrassing.

The comments on the last few ghacks articles concerning the project have been extremely tame compared to the flame wars that you can find on some of the older articles. It's insane.

Pale Moon is one of the few browsers left that does not hoover up user data like a golf ball through a garden hose, yet somehow we are the bad guys because we want to be "different".

Being "different" has never, ever been a goal of this project.

Well, if you complain about horrible comments, the blog owner - if he cares for - does delete them of course.

Seems Martin Brinkmann had also enough and enforced more strict community moderation rules. Was about time!

There will only be one class of users be pissed because of that... the Mozilla trolls

Diversity is key.

And poor trolls... Being forced to use subtle low level insults must be difficult for them. Especially now that they are forced to write with a little bit intelligence in mind to make their troll post appear :D
