That is a rather bleak and scathing review of palemoon.

It's not a review; its a rant.

The same tired rant the poster made here a couple of years back.

He has issues...

Btw. read some comments from Appster here

https://www.ghacks.net/2018/03/06/pale- ... -released/

and compare that with that Sun-Glasses post.

Wondering if Appster and Sun-glasses could be one and the same person? :D

Imho their posts - how they make arguments - are very similar. Their posts may sound neutral, but with the intention to bash Pale Moon.

I would not be surprised if they are one and the same person.

I didn't read the review, I guess I should have.

It was a review so I thought to post it, I didn't realize it was negative until later.

That was no review. It was a clear trolling post. Hehe... and where you can post that best? On Reddit where the Mozilla fanboy crowd is sitting - the one's who down-vote everyone in favor of features and choice :)

If you make the comparison with Mozillazine, to their rescue.. the Reddit crowd is much more worse. As they almost always do agree with EVERY decision Mozilla does. MZ - there are quite some respectable people around.

So, be careful, between that 2 places are galaxy's between ;)

FWIW, if people try a browser and it works for them, they'll keep using the browser regardless of what the detractors have to say about the browser. This is the long and short of it.
Linux Mint 21.3 (Virginia) Xfce w/ Linux Pale Moon, Linux Waterfox, Linux SeaLion, Linux Firefox
MX Linux 23.2 (Libretto) Xfce w/ Linux Pale Moon, Linux Waterfox, Linux SeaLion, Linux Firefox
Linux Debian 12.5 (Bookworm) Xfce w/ Linux Pale Moon, Linux Waterfox, Linux SeaLion, Linux Firefox

Hehe.. yeah, i agree :D But it is utterly sad that people can't accept that their most dearest wishes have been not fulfilled. And because of that they post under various handles on different sources their tirades - but as nobody here cares for their opinion and their hurt pride, they can write, rant, scream and hammering their heads against the wall as much and as hard they want :)

We are not insulted by yours truly, dear haters :)

That is all what i have to say ;)

An opinion of one single reviewer is hardly going to be conclusive evidence that a software application is going down the pan so to speak.Opinions can be varied and nothing is ascertained from these.

Just let the wolves howl to themselves .

I couldn't care less about that article or any other defamatory article, I am only a user and this browser has suited my needs for the past 7yrs (possibly 8yrs). I'm with Pale Moon for the long haul.

Well, that was the goal as it seems of that review, a little boy who's ego got hurt wanted to get some revenge, it is best to laugh over this little moth :D

It is way easy to type stuff on some source elsewhere, but Sun-Glasses has not the tiniest bit of courage to face Moonchild and everyone else, so cowards do, what cowards can do best: shit-talking behind other people's back!

My thought about this is that they must really be feeling the loss of people from FF and are trying very hard to scare folks away from a truly great browser. FF has been losing folks for years and now since they are truly getting ready to pull the plug on add on's that most folks cannot live without they are seeing a migration to browsers that still let them use the add on's that they love. And since they have no way to fight a legit fight, it has come down to the dirt throwing. I have seen this a million times. When one does not have a valid argument with their opponent and feel they are loosing the fight they then start the name calling and misdirection.

I would say that the more we see of these trolling posts the better it must be getting. God, they really have forgotten where FF came from
and how it came to be the best browser ever. It was small beginnings and was the "black sheep" of Netscape that made it what it was.

Now we see new "Black Sheep" and they do their best to black ball it. Nothing new under the sun.

Keep up the good work MC and Team. Your making them nervous.
