How many bookmarks do you have?

I have an addon called Bookmarks Checker and it reports 1,570 bookmarks.

Most of my bookmarks are links to research papers. They do not get used often. these number in the 100s.

The practical bookmarks, the ones I use regularly, number under 30.

After once having had a huge bookmarks list, I now have fewer than 10 'bookmarks' - though I have around 30 regularly used links on my start page. Instead I now have hundreds of URL links saved in with the relevant topics across multiple regular folders on my PC, which works much better for me.

I had to count my bookmarks individually because if you have our bookmarks scattered in different folders, it doesn't work which the user Venom stated and I'm quoting since I had to do it his way.

Does not work if one has defined a directory structure which means that using this method one would have to go directory by directory. – Venom Jan 26 at 0:44

I followed the instructions in that link and it is now telling me, since I added a folder and moved some bookmarks into that folder, I have 34 items (folders). I could be doing this wrong or it may be different in linux since I'm using linux Pale Moon.

Edit: All of my 571 bookmarks are in folders on my Bookmarks Toolbar.

Wow, some people have a lot of bookmarks! I never really used bookmarks until less than a month ago, but they do have utility. I can hardly imagine having hundreds or thousands, though...

About 400 on one profile and about 100 on another. Some of them overlap, so I'll say around 500.

3420 - a lot of them DIY-related, not really used but there 'just in case'.
The method of hovering over 'Restore' seems to be the simple way.
