For many years I used Skype to monitor my granny's condition by setting it up for automatic answer when called from the list of trusted (family) logins. Now, after Micro$oft has killed classic Skype for Linux (I know of the hack that still allows to run it, but I'm afraid this will not last long), I'm looking for a replacement or an alternative solution. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.
