Re: interesting review of palemoon.
I normally don't mind his reviews, but sometimes he doesn't do enough research.
Re: interesting review of palemoon.
Really?? But elsewhere he says.Pale Moon is really good for simple stuff
But then I'm asking myself, if Pale Moon can be fast and responsive with an "older" engine, what did stop Mozilla from doing this in the first place?
So he's obviously surprised to see how well it works compared to the E10 version, but somehow later says it's only for simple stuff?
Is he just complaining about the looks on Linux or over all?another piece of penalty is less than optimal looks
Did he even look at the Add on site?
He obviously did not look to see that the Linux versions are not actually put out by
Moonchild productions, but by others working with him.
He brings up an interesting issue here. If you type in ABP in the search bar on the extensionsThe first hit is not compatible. The REAL alternative is not listed here.
page it gives you a FF list and not PM. I wonder if there would be a way to alert users
that the search looks only on FF instead of getting the choice like you would if you simply clicked
on the "Get Add On's tab? Or simply give the same option when searching as to where you want to search.
Or heck, it may be time to simply remove the option to search for Add on's on FF all together as
they may not even be available on FF in the future.
It's sad that he could not have taken the time to research a bit more.
I'm sure his outlook would have been a bit better.
