YouTube a memory hog...?

Is it just me or have others noticed that the new YouTube is a huge memory hog on Pale Moon? When I was on youtube the memory usage jumped up to over 350000k and rendered Pail Moon un-usable. I was forced to use a different browser for my YouTube needs.

Also is there a way to check how much memory addons and other things are using?

Youtube has changed recently, and for the worse. But still can be used, i suggest block all except video, ads and other their spying shit, can be done with decode https requests.

I had major memory leakage too with youtube while I was using the extension version of Youtube Center. The userscript version works way nicer.

But, you can check memory usage in general by accessing about:memory.
To see how much each add-on takes, there's about:addons-memory.

I too experience this issue. I might switch to just downloading youtube videos to watch them and deleting them afterwards if this gets any worse. I can not even access their website without a special cookie now.

Yes, that is what I tried, and got the error. The dash was a typo in the forum.
