NoScript 4.0.1 Blocking Forecastfox (fix version) 2.4.8 Editing

Unread post by Thehandyman1957 » 2017-09-10, 01:23

I was having an issue with Forecastfox (fix version) 2.4.8 in PM 27.4.2

I would try to go to "options" and everything would be blank except the basic wording of the page.

So if you tried to click on something to change it, there wasn't anything there. No icon packs, no highlighting your original settings.

Just the black text of the option.

It turns out that it was NoScript 4.0.1 blocking that page.

I'm not sure if that is normal, but when I was on 26.5.0 with NoScript 2.9.0.11 it did not do this.

Just thought I would throw this out there.

Have you considered upgrading to NoScript 5.0.9 ?

I've actually just quit using NoScript all together. It's too much trouble anymore. I have Ublock, Disconnect, and ABL.

That's good enough for me at this point. I mean, I even had NoScript allowing all scripts and it was still causing issues.

I just want the pages to load like they should. So out it goes.

I don't see a NoScript version 4.0.1 anywhere. Maybe that was the problem? :)

Oh, how strange. When I went back to look at what version # was in my FEBE back up it wasn't the same. :wtf:

So the version # of NoScript I was using must have been 5.0.6 Not sure where I got the other number from.

Dam, getting old sucks.
