Security Warning on "one" site only..

Post by denise1952 » 2017-03-11, 20:38

..but I can't contact them to ask for help.

I'm unable to send pm's there, or post. When I try, I get the security warning below in attachment. Does anyone know if this could have to do with the only thing I've changed since it started, and that was to update to the latest Pale Moon:

Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated. My other sites, including this one work fine, so I don't think it's my Palemoon but I have to make sure. The site is xda-developers.com

Try the site again, and make sure, in the address bar, that it says https (with the "s"), and not only http.

I can't log in since I don't have an account there, but I entered a bogus user name and password to see what would happen, and I got no such message; it tried to log me in.

Some websites display this error because they use form data and send it to a http request when the entered details were entered in a form that is https.
it all depends on what exactly is sent "in the clear" to know if this is a problem.

I have an account on xda-dev so i logged in.
I have no problem sending PM´s or posting there, I don´t get any "security-warnings".

The only thing i see is a few errormessages similar to this: "!DOCTYPE html> html> head> script>var google_casm ["",0,null,0,0]; /script> script> function i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject'] r;i[r] i[r]||function ){ i[r].q i[r].q||[]).push arguments)},i[r].l 1*new Date );a s.createElement o),m s.getElementsByTagName o)[0];a.async 1;a.src g;m.parentNode.insertBefore a,m)}) window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','gao'); /script> style type "text/css">body{margin:0;padding:0;overflow:hidden;line-height:0;} /style> link rel "stylesheet" href
"

I´m using PM 27.1.2 64-bit on W7.
