Sometimes two people can just get into a stubborn mood. One is looking for the other to give in and the other is looking for the one to give in.

Larkin Poe - "Stubborn Love".

Ok, I know this is probably cheating but I couldn't help it. This came up on
Pandorian and the name struck me. So here it is. ;)

Chicane - Sunshine Medley

Good luck finding this in a public place online. SME has cracked down on it.

It seems Life was a lot more fun decades ago when I was still working and not retired like I am today. Today, it seems everybody has an axe to grind against "something" instead of having fun. Even when people come home at night, they just don't seem to have any fun. So, my theme song for today.

Wang Chung - "Everybody Have Fun Tonight".

Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane/Starship passed away a couple of days ago at age 76.

Here is a short song sung by him off of Jefferson Airplane's 1967 album Surrealistic PIllow (guitar part played by Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead):

Today - Jefferson Airplane

Another one by him from his debut solo album:

I'm using Pale Moon version 28.1.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

I'm up early waiting on the first light of dawn to take my sup down to the lake for a two hour flat water paddling session. While I'm waiting, I'm listening to some southern rock. The one below has the lyrics on the screen.

Molly Hatchet - "Fall Of The Peacemakers".

Ok, so here is a blast of American past right here.

Newcleus - jam On It

I think I was around 7 years old.
Parachute pants, Big Getto Blasters and lots of cardboard.

My parents loved this trend because parachute pants were cheap. ;)

Ben Daglish, one of the UK's greatest video game musicians died earlier this week at the age of just 52.
Ben was one of the now legendary Commodore 64 Sid Chip musicians of the 1980's where the technical challenges of making any kind of meaningful sound, let alone music, were not just met, but surpassed by the likes of Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway, David Whittaker, Fred Gray and others, but also of course Ben Daglish.

I've got an extensive music collection. I seem to gravitate to the older songs of yesteryear. This is one of them below.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - "Carry On".

Always preferred the 14 minute live version from Four Way Street, one of the all time great live rock albums.

In the month of September when the ragweed starts to bloom and usually lasts to the middle of October where I live, this plant gives me some itchy, red angry looking eyes. This song below reminds me of my angry looking eyes.
