getting rid of status/progress bar?

Unread post by ellenelle » 2012-07-01, 19:02

I can't get the progress bar in the add-ons bar to go away although I am selecting None for "show status in." What am I misunderstanding?

Thanks,
Ellen

The progress bar is not controlled by "show status in"

to remove the progress bar, right-click your status bar, select "Customize..." and drag the progress bar indicator you see there from the status bar to your customize window. The same can be done with the download status indicator if you don't want it there.

Alternatively, you can have the page load progress shown in the address bar (Safari-style among other things), you can find that under status bar options, category "Progress"

Thanks! Actually I have the progress bars in each tab, via Tab Mix Plus.
