Truly one of best scenes in the movie. My song of the day. ;)

Tron Legacy - Soundtrack OST - 10 Adagio For TRON - Daft Punk

The Miracle...You remember. ISOs, isomorphic algorithms, a whole new life form. And you created them? No, no. They manifested, like a flame. They weren't really, really from anywhere. The conditions were right, and they came into being. For centuries we dreamed of gods, spirits, aliens, and intelligence beyond our own. I found them in here, like flowers in a wasteland. Profoundly naive; unimaginably wise. They were spectacular. Everything I'd hope to find in the system; control, order, perfection. None of it meant a thing. Been living in a hall of mirrors. The ISOs shattered it, the possibilities of their root code, their digital DNA. Disease? History! Science, philosophy, every idea man has ever had about the Universe up for grabs. Biodigital jazz, man. The ISOs, they were going to be my gift to the world. So what happened? CLU. CLU happened. Puts down puzzle piece It was a coup. Tron, he fought for me. I never saw him again. So why didn't you fight? He did. CLU fed on my resistance. The more I fought, the more powerful he became. It was impressive, really. And my miracle? CLU saw the ISOs as an imperfection, so he destroyed them.

@ Thehandyman1957

I've always liked Daft Punk's music. I thought it went so well with the Tron Legacy movie.

Moving on to other things, my wife told me Jimmy Buffet and his Coral Reefer Band are going to perform a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands, Texas on the night of June 1st, 2019 at 8:00pm.

She told me she is going to get two tickets so we can go and join the other "Parrotheads" for some island type of music. Woohoo!!! :D I told my wife I'll pay for the tickets, but she told me, it will be "her treat" this time. 8-)

My wife of 45 years knows how much I like having anything to do with the ocean and the music that goes along with it. This all started for me when I first had my introduction to the Atlantic ocean at Ocean City, Maryland when I was just a kid at the age of 7 years old.

I'm glad she doesn't get upset with my "expensive" water related hobbies (standup paddle boarding, kayaking, saltwater fishing, crabbing, etc) and this does not include my archery (recurve bows) hobbie.

Anyhow, at the concert, I'm going to guess Jimmy will sing this song below.

So as as I was wondering through some songs yesterday I came across this one.
This is truly one of the best movies I have ever seen. It's deep and makes you think.

When listening to it, it makes me think of my past and how life can pass by so fast.
So enjoy it while it lasts. ;)

It seems you're in the mood for instrumentals. I've got one. A "cover" instrumental song. The song was originally done by the swedish group, ABBA. I hope you like it.

So when I first posted the song from Tron I had in mind a completely
different version and for some reason got caught on a Youtube tangent,
and though I love classical and those versions, my heart is in another type.

So today, I thought I would put out the version I was thinking of, but got
side tracked on. ;) So this is my song of the day.

I was done at the computer repair shop earlier today and some of the guys in the back room where they were working on some customer's computers, they were playing some music, specifically the music by the group, Chicago. One song in particular was "25 or 6 or 4" and the lead singer on this original song was Peter Cetera. Anyway, I came home and found a cover song that sounds remarkably close to the original. "THE" best cover I've ever heard for this song. The group is a russian group (I think) after reviewing the credits after the song has played. This is their studio version.

Below is the cover song and it will be my theme song for the day.

Leonid & Friends - (Chicago cover) "25 Or 6 To 4".

And if you want to compare it to the original, the link is below.

@ Moonraker

I since you like march music. Well, so do I. My favorite march music composer is John Philip Sousa. Below is the link to the official march of the US Marine Corps composed by Sousa.

Thomas Bergersen - Taking the Helm (American Dream)

It's from the middle of a larger composition, but this is my theme when Tobin goes to sleep and leaves me in charge of his channel. ;)

My theme song for today has to undoubtedly be: B.E.T.H. - The Incredible News To Access

Why? Because today's been nothing but a cascade of people telling me things that border on unbelievable with how crazy they are. The track is just as crazy of a composition.

And on a completely different note today I was going through old stuff that needs to be sorted, coming across both retro console things and some OCRemix audio files of the same.

My theme song therefore has turned into "Monstrous Turtles!" for today: https://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01558

@ Isengrim

I like Thomas Bergersen's music compositions. Always have and always will. Another of my favorite music composers is Hans Zimmer. The music below comes from the movie, "Crimson Tide".

Well, I can go a little further. Since I've already had my allotment of my theme song for the, the link below is not a song, but a speech.

If you've seen the movie, I'm sure you'll remember the embarkment scene where the captain of the naval submarine arrives, makes his entrance and delivers his speech to the entire crew..

And anyone who has graduated from the Univeristy of Alabama, will recognize the significance of "Roll Tide". ;)
