Could you add the possibility to choose where to download files?

I have tryied the firefox workaround with adding download.dir to configurqtion, but it does not work.

If it is possible, could it be also for the external sdcard?

You already can choose where files are downloaded to.

I don't think that's going to work for the Android version of Pale Moon...

There's a bunch of potentially useful settings for changing this behavior in about:config but I don't have time to mess with them right now.

I think you can change it by altering browser.download.dir and browser.dwnload.folderList in about:config

This is somewhat inconvenient however, especially if you need to switch the directory often
