I'm using palemoon on manjara openrc,
all the html5 videos on youtube are 360p, no option for any higher quality,
in about:config there aren't any settings related to mp4,
what's the problem? thanks

For starters, have you tried setting media.gstreamer.enable to true in about:config?

i've installed gstreamer ffmped good and good plugin, and it works now,

You don't get 1080p without MSE, which Palemoon does not support. You can either use Flash instead or install the ViewTube userscript, which has MPEG-DASH functionality. I've found that it can play some 1080p videos, but it's not completely bug-free.

I don't know what MSE is, but thanks for the info, 720p is enough for now.
