OS is Mageia Linux 5, (a Mandriva fork), x64
I checked for the required dependencies, and they were installed, with the caveat that some of them have many possible packages to install. Note that the packages are x64. I configured sudo, and it does work.
Install from pminstaller.sh went fine. PM comes up and I can enter a URL and go to a website, e.g., yale.edu. But if I click on the Tools menu, PM dies. Not sure what I need to do. During the install, I selected install latest version.
If what is being installed is x32, do I need to install x32 packages, or is there something else I am missing?
Any help, much appreciated.

Re: Install only partially successful
According to this post here, if you have a 64-bit version of Linux, the installer will install the 64 bit version of Pale Moon.

Re: Install only partially successful
helloimustbegoing is correct, the installer will automatically install the correct architecture for your system (in your case, x64).
Are you using KDE? This sounds like the oxygen-gtk theme issue. Please check the FAQ for more info and solutions to this.

Re: Install only partially successful
Thanks, folks. I changed my theme from Oxygen to GTK+ and PM works like a charm
