Playback issues
I am having problems playing yt in html5 and ogg audio (streem is distorted). I am running 3.18.21-1-MANJARO, palemoon 25.7.0 (x64).
Re: Playback issues
- Can you post a link to the website where you encounter this problem?
- Is the Pale Moon from upstream (linux.palemoon.org/AUR palemoon-bin) or a custom build (e.g. AUR palemoon)?
Re: Playback issues
Like i said on youtube on html5 player and for example i cant listen this ogg file and i am on palemoon-bin 25.7.0-1.1.

Re: Playback issues
I clicked on your ogg file link and the player loaded and almost immediately started playing the 32:54 minutes of the ubuntu podcast.aranwe wrote:Like i said on youtube on html5 player and for example i cant listen this ogg file and i am on palemoon-bin 25.7.0-1.1.

When I play a video in html5 or try to listen a ogg file the process does not appear under playback on pulse audio volume control, like clementine or firefox.

Re: Playback issues
In my linux Mint, I have not changed any of the pulse audio control default settings. Yet, I can hear the ubuntu podcast.aranwe wrote:try to listen a ogg file the process does not appear under playback on pulse audio volume control, like clementine or firefox.

Re: Playback issues
Don't blame pulseaudio, blame the config. Have a look at alsa and pulse and see that they play nice together and that they're set to suit your system. Do audio sources other than vorbis work properly?
Re: Playback issues
Yes they are. So it is not pulse.........Tharn wrote:Do audio sources other than vorbis work properly?
Re: Playback issues
I made a sistem update and now everything is working perfect, I dont know what is was (pacman magic)
Re: Playback issues
You have to understand that Arch is a rolling release distro, and it might happen that some packages are available in the repositories which might not be the most stable or even properly functioning.aranwe wrote:I made a sistem update and now everything is working perfect, I dont know what is was (pacman magic)
