cannot install plugin for Flash

Unread post by greyowl » 2015-05-18, 02:28

I am using Puppy Linux and Pale Moon (Linux). I am new to both.
I downloaded and tried the 4 options of Flash and tried to install them, but they did not work.
Please walk me through the procedure.

Maybe it is just a matter of the place where the plugin is installed. Try to follow the hints provided in this thread.

PM looks in your 32 bit plugin directory, which is probably /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.

Remove all copies of the plugins where ever they may be, and put them in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins only, and see if it works.

PS It doesn't matter if you use 32 bit PM or 64 bit PM, they both look in the 32 bit plugin directory.
