Starting PM4L w/ shift key depressed doesn't work

Unread post by ron_1 » 2015-05-03, 13:47

I installed a theme on my Linux Palemoon, and in the process I lost the address bar (my fault, not the theme's). After fiddling around for a minute, I was able to get it back. But one thing I tried that did not work was starting Palemoon with the Shift key held down. I did not get the Safe Mode/recovery dialog. Does this method not work in Linux PM?

To start Pale Moon in safe mode on Linux, you can either select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled..." from the help menu, or type (minus quotes) "palemoon -safe-mode" in the terminal.
