Difference in Pale Moon App Menu Button in Windows & Linux

I'm just curious.

In Windows; if I uncheck the Menu Bar (where the Menu Bar is not displayed) and in Options > Tabs and then scrolling on down, if I uncheck "Always show the tab bar" (where the Tab Bar is not displayed), the Pale Moon app menu button is seen.

But, in linux, it is different. In linux; if I uncheck the Menu Bar (where the Menu Bar is not displayed) and in Options, > Tabs and then scrolling on down, if I uncheck "Always show the tab bar" (where the Tab Bar is not displayed), the Pale Moon app menu button is "not" seen.

This behavior is present in both linux distros which I use, Mint and SolydX.

Could a power user or maybe Trava90 explain to me why this happens in linux?

The AppMenu button is specific to the "draw in title bar" functionality in Windows. That kind of "skinning" Isn't possible in Linux and that part of the theme is therefore not present in Linux. Even with Antonius' extension, it will still always show the title bar and standard window frame even when adding an AppMenu.

Thanks for the explanation. It's much appreciated since I thought I might have made a wrong setting someplace in both linux distros.

It's not as 'tidy', is it, the Linux version? Kind of a shame.

Since I prefer to hide the Tab bar in both linux and Windows, I can live with me not showing the Pale Moon App Menu button in linux.

@Joel Cairo

I'm not a big user of tabs. I'd rather open up a new window than a new tab. I hide the Tab Bar in both linux and Windows because I do not like having a single tab opening up telling me what site I'm on when the Address/Navigation Bar is telling me the exact same thing and there are no other tabs open.
