Pale Moon for Linux 64-bit

Post by LambdaFox » 2014-12-03, 19:26

I am a tech oldie, but Linux newbie. I am running Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 64 bit [amd]

i have Pale Moon 24.6.2 x64 for linux running.

I am unclear from the Sourceforge page whether the installer will determine or allow me to choose 64-bit Pale Moon?

The script seems to be able to determine whether or not you are running a 64 bit or a 32 bit OS(or distro in this case)..I do suggest downloading the newest script from sourceforge upgrading your browser to 25.1

Yes, the installer automatically detects if you are running an x64 or x86 OS and then downloads and installs the correct package.

So in your case, using the "Update Pale Moon" option in the installer will upgrade you to 25.1.0 x64.
