New builds for Pale Moon 25.1.0 for Linux have been released!

These builds correct a compatibility problem for people on some older distros who would receive the following error message when trying to start Pale Moon:

Code: Select all

symbol lookup error: /palemoon/libxul.so: undefined symbol: gdk_window_get_visual

You can grab the files directly using the link above or use the installer to install or update Pale Moon. Please note that if you are currently using 25.1.0 without any problems, there is no need to update to these new builds, as nothing has changed except for a compatibility fix for people with gtk 2.20 installed.

Sorry about the inconvenience for those affected by this!

Pale Moon 25.3.2 for Linux has been released!

Download the files directly from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pm4linux/files/25.3.2/, or use the installer to install or update Pale Moon.

Moonchild wrote:This release is an emergency update to fix crashes that started occurring because of Mozilla improperly signing the extensions and extension updates as offered through the Firefox Add-ons site addons.mozilla.org. Any improperly signed extension would not be able to be installed, and would immediately crash the browser.

No other changes were made in this release - this is a bugfix for this particular issue only.

Pale Moon 25.5.0 for Linux has been released!

Download the files directly from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pm4linux/files/25.5.0/, or use the installer to install or update Pale Moon.

We also now have an x86 Intel Atom optimized build for Linux as well (thanks to those who helped test this!). You can grab it from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pm4linux/files/atom/25.5.0/

Note that you can not use the installer to install the Atom build. You can either manually install it or simply extract and run.

Please also read the release notes for 25.5.0.

Please note:
Pale Moon 25.5.* will be the last release that is hosted on SourceForge. All future versions will be hosted on our new in house server (I'll post more on this soon). In order to download from our new server (and receive any future versions), you MUST use the latest version of the installer (version 0.2.0).

Enjoy this release!
