Every time after I visit https://www.google.com/chrome/ my display turns black and there is no way to back to normal state. I have to restart my computer to work normally. I think the issue are animations on the page.
My configuration:
- Linux Mint 14
- Linux 3.13.0-24-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 10 19:11:08 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
- Linux version 3.13.0-24-generic (buildd@panlong) (gcc version 4.8.2 (Ubuntu 4.8.2-19ubuntu1) ) #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 10 19:11:08 UTC 2014
- dwm 6.0
- Palemoon 24.7.2 (x64)
- 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (primary) (rev 0c)

Re: Linux: Display crached after visiting google.com/chrome
Clicking on the link your provided, the page renders properly for me with a white colored background. Like you, I'm using linux Pale Moon (24.7.2).
Now, this might be the cause, but it's just a guess on my part. You're using 64 bit Mint 14 and I'm using 64 bit Mint 17. Mint 14 reached the EOL (end of life) this past April of 2014. It's no longer supported.
Second guess and I'm leaning more on this guess. I'm running an Nvidia graphics card on this desktop computer using the proper (not outdated) linux 331.38 driver. You're using Intel graphics. When is the last time you updated your linux Intel driver?
