How many minutes does it take to compile palemoon for linux?

That depends a lot on your hardware!
It's a big program - expect at least an hour unless you have a high end machine with lots of ram.

It takes around 20 minutes on my Core-i5 @ 4.6GHz (and "only" 8Gb RAM), under 32 bits Linux, with gcc v4.6.4.
