[SOLVED] long startup after crash

Unread post by vayth » 2014-03-05, 03:39

It was working nicely fast startup, etc.
until one day, my system crashed. Since then, PM won't startup. Or so I thought, but it seems that it just has a very looong start up, causing PM just appeared suddenly and randomly.
If I tried launching it from terminal, I got

Code: Select all

(process:4454): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed
...and fails to launch.

Any thought about this?

Everyone is getting that glib warning, see bug #833117.

I suspect that the system crash corrupted your profile or other crucial files, as you said that it worked before the crash.

Try with a new profile or reinstalling palemoon.
