I installed this addon and it's not working @ all with palemoon.

Have uninstalled and re-installed a few times.

works with other linux browsers tho...

Is this a global issue with palemoon ?

uBlock Origin doesn't technically support Pale Moon, but a number of people have been using it without too many issues.

Have you tried installing it on a clean profile without other add-ons, to verify that something else is not getting in the way of it?

I use uBO and it works brilliantly
(I'm on Windows 7, but many Linux users also use it.)

Where did you install it from?
For Pale Moon you'll need the xul version, which can be installed directly from GitHub: firefox-legacy-1.16.4.11.

If you would like uBO to auto-update, also install the uBlock Origin Updater

I've been using uBlock Origin (currently version firefox-legacy-1.16.4.11) and I've never had a problem using it in 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.6.1 running in 64 bit linux Mint 19.2 (Tina) Xfce.

no other addon installed except uO.

I have used uBlock on other linux distros and windows 7&10.

I just now removed Palemoon completely and installed 28.6.1 64bit (Linux) release and still uO doesn't block anything.

However, I now find that 'adblock latitude' is working fine ;)

How did you install the add-on? From where? Which version?
If you are happy with Adblock Latitude, no need to answer. We'll consider the case closed.

And this is not a global issue with Pale Moon. There are many people here who use uBlock ad blocker without issues, so it must be just you.

It's already been mentioned, but I'll repeat it. You need to use the legacy version of uBo found here:

https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/tag/firefox-legacy-1.16.4.11

But ABL also works great. You are aware that Pale Moon does not support webextensions, right?

This I was not aware of - I was installing addons as if with FF

the github legacy one is working :D

now that I was using ABL will try to see which uses less resources. I was under the impression that uBlock was leaner.

Thanks guys for the suggests...
