java not working after upgrade

Unread post by pleconte » 2019-07-01, 10:47

Well, I'm so sorry but after hours of effort without any results, I'm seeking help to make Java works with Pale Moon. My configuration is KDE neon 64. I have installed a few months ago Pale Moon and Java to access my hospital applications and it worked smoothly. Since two weeks, I'm unable to launch Java and therefore to access to the applications that I need.
Pale Moon 28.5.2

I'm sure that I miss something but I'm unable to fix this, help would be very appreciated !

Is the Plugin listed under about:plugins?
Check if /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle/jre/lib/amd64/ exists.
