Palemoon 28.5.2 not prompting to save passwords
Running Palemoon 28.5.2 on Peppermint os 10 and
I have 'Remember passwords for sites checked' but it
does not prompt me to save passwords.
On the Privacy Tab, I have 'Remember history' selected if that makes any difference.
In other words, nothing is deleted upon exit of Palemoon.
Also, when you go to Saved passwords under the Security tab,
there doesn't seem to be any way to enter a site and password manually.
I am experiencing this same problem on two desktops,
so I doubt it has anything to do with my profile.
Anyone else having the same problem ?

When clicking show passwords, you don't have the "New" button to add a new login?

That isn't a Pale Moon extension.

Perhaps you should instead be promoting the Pale Moon version of that add-on that the same author supports?billmcct wrote: ↑2019-06-13, 13:52Install "Saved Password Editor 2.10.3"

Perhaps your right, if i had known that. The one I've used for many many years still works great though.

Re: Palemoon 28.5.2 not prompting to save passwords
Ok, I think that I jumped the gun on Palemoon not saving passwords.
I had only tried one site ( ancestry.com ) and on that
site, Palemoon doesn't prompt to save the password.
I have tried several other sites since starting this post and
it does prompt me and it does save the passwords on all
the other sites that I've tried so far.
I guess maybe it's in the way some web pages are coded that
causes Palemoon not to prompt for the password.
When I go to Preferences/Security/Saved Passwords, however,
there is no 'Add' button to add a site and password manually.
