28.5.2 and previous version appear to be incompatible with CIBC.com (a Canadian bank). Attempting to log-in results in an (undescriptive, unhelpful) error message.
Firefox 60.6.3 and Chromium 74.0.3729.157 both work OK.

The same error occurs when entering legitimate or bogus login credentials.

The browser console shows an error, but it's not really informative either.

Hm. The CIBC.com login page displays properly here.
Entering incorrect login credentials (I am not a customer) returns the error message "You have entered incorrect information. Please check your Caps Lock key and try again. {Result #0008}".
Looks descriptive and helpful to me, even though their pretty wild guess that I may have enabled caps lock is incorrect.

Sounds like a problem that a UA override might solved. Try one and see.
