Search bar works incorrectly in about:home

This bug can be found in the search bar of the page about:home. Details are as follows:
If a search plugin use the method "POST" to submit the query such as SearX (https://addons.palemoon.org/search-plugins/#searx), then no search result will be obtained, only the homepage of that search engine will be returned.
I have tested this bug in version 28.5.x.

The same thing happens in Windows (PM 28.5.2, Win 7 x86).
It's solely with about:home's search bar (not the regular search bar or address bar).

All search provider plugins seem affected the same: Editing the .xml for searx (or for Startpage or Ixquick which also use "POST" by default) and changing method from "POST" to "GET" did make search work again with those plugins; by the same token, editing any "GET"-by-default plugin in the opposite direction gave it the same problem as searx.

Because the page about:home is the first impression of Pale Moon, so this bug is really a big problem.

I hope it can be fixed as soon as possible!

Actually, it is not. The Pale Moon start portal is the default home page in Pale Moon, not about:home.

Also, most search engines (including every default included one) will use GET methods.
I do not even know why SearX uses POST by default.
