Issues with keepassxc

Not sure which variable is at the root of my issue here

Running palemoon 28.5.0 as preferred browser on Mx Linux with keepassxc 2.4.1

When I click on the url link within keepassxc it throws up a http://www.%u.com/ tab link along with the correct url of the passworded url https://address tab. I am hoping to avoid the http://www.%u.com/ with error of unable to connect to site bit. Is this an mx linux config issue or a problem from keepassxc end? I would like to identify the one that needs to be adjusted & modify accordingly.

It looks like they tried to create the address using formatted printing but messed up somewhere.
I think it's a problem with keepassxc.
