opensuse site not working with PM28
When I try to login to the http://forums.opensuse.org site, I get redirected to a tab on login.microfocus.com ... I can enter my username and password (saved) but when I press login it does nothing at all. What has this site to behave like that ?
I regret to say that firefox can enter (it was ages I did not use firefox)

Does it work in safe mode?
Also post the troubleshooting infos just in case.

Are you blocking 3rd-party cookies? My first guess is that you need to allow cookies from both opensuse.org and microfocus.com.

I have "Block pop up" and "Accept third party cookies = from visited" (non sure if new default or inherited from old profile). Setting to "always" does not change.
The cookie history seems to contain both opensuse and microfocus cookies.
The behaviour is the same in safe mode.

To note, "microfocus.com" appears to be related to "suse", at least an integral part of their forums (at least the signin process). (Discussions can be found on their forums.)
And yes, likely to be cookie or related issue.

Do you mean discussions on login difficulties ? Can you provide URLs ? I can browse the forum but not search it (apparently search requires to be logged in and I'd loathe to use FF for that). Do you manage to login from your palemoon ?therube wrote:(Discussions can be found on their forums.)

I doubt it is a cookie issue (see test above). I hoped it was something with user agent sniffing or FF compatibility mode (I hoped in a suggestion for a fake id string to supply to fudge them) ... or some bad thing in their site (in which case I'll renounce ... it can't be viewed with PM, it's not worth viewing ).

No, I was speaking of discussions related to "microfocus.com".
(Don't recall if I searched directly from their forums or from Google?
Also, I have no account there.)
