Hi! From few days cannot play Facebook videos. Error from console is:

Code: Select all

Error: The manifest specifies content that cannot be displayed on this browser/platform.
I tried to use different user agents for general.useragent.override.facebook.com and general.useragent.override.fbcdn.net but no luck.
Tried to restart in safe mode and with new profile, but again no luck.

The same error is happen with Firefox 52.8.1 ESR
Basilisk, latest Pale Moon beta and latest Firefox play Facebook videos just fine.

OS: Manjaro 17.1.10
DE: Xfce4
Pale Moon version: 27.9.3 (64-bit)

Same error with 52 ESR, but it works in Basilisk, huh? Weird!

Perhaps someone with more knowledge of media changes in Basilisk can use this information to narrow down the problem?

I figured it out! :D

Default user agent for general.useragent.override.facebook.com and general.useragent.override.fbcdn.net is

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:99.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.9 (Pale Moon)
When i change it to:

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:99.9) Goanna/4.1 (Pale Moon)
or

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.9) Goanna/4.1 (Pale Moon)
All works again! Looks like Facebook not like Gecko anymore...
