Airsonic not able to add songs to the queue and play them

I am running Pale Moon 27.8.1 (32 bit) on Manjaro and generally speaking loving its small footprint!
I have a problem with Airsonic (fork of Subsonic). The WebUI loads just fine. I can see all my music and perform all operation except when I try to add songs to the queue, nothing happens. Therefore I am also not able to play music. Airsonic works just fine on Firefox on the same machine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
