GTK2

Not really an issue , more of a slight request to NOT drop support for GTK2 , since that is the only version of GTK that I can go in and modify the actual colors in, thats all.

Long-term we'll have to see about getting GTK2 back into a working state in UXP. Until then and on the current platform, GTK2 is the way to go.

Same here, GTK2 is great, GTK3 is not usable because of theme issues. Qt would be good too but afaik Qt support in Firefox/PM isn’t really working…

I wouldn't have an issue if there were decent GTK3 tools out there for making your own color scheme, but none work that well and plus I just prefer the lazy route of taking an existing theme and modifying it myself. I can do that with GTK2, but not with GTK3. QT is ok, because I can do similar things, one of the only things I ever missed from Windows was the color scheme Rainy Day which had that rather soft dark tone to it. There is an actual 'Redmond' theme, but being that it is GTK3 , I can't mess with it.

Of course I am preaching to the choir and this is the downside of a *NIX environment; since there are so many widget toolkists, GTKx , QT, OpenMotif etc , it does get rather messy and keeping support for all those is probably a nightmare.
