Random blue pixels in videos with RX 480

Unread post by happysmash27 » 2017-10-15, 06:32

I just started noticing lots of random blue pixels today. Since this only happens in Palemoon, I believe this is a Palemoon problem and not one with my computer, although I could be wrong. Pictures can be seen in the attachments.

I just noticed that it happens with my desktop cube too. Perhaps it was just my logout. Please ignore this post! Unfortunately I can't delete it.

I’m not seeing any extraneous blue pixel in your screenshots!

There are no blue pixels in your screenshots, which means it's most likely an issue with your graphics card (and a display-only issue that you see but not actually being a problem in the rendered data). Did you perhaps mess with the clock speeds or memory speeds? If so, you may want to throttle it back a little ;)

No overclocking, but it was a display issue. It appears to have just been a loose monitor cable, which explains why it only happened recently (since I moved my PC). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction even though it doesn't have much to do with Palemoon!
