Linux version to replace NoSquint

Unread post by tman801 » 2017-09-10, 13:36

My eyes are not that good and have been using NoSquint Plus but it will not work with Pale Moon 27.4.2 in Ubuntu16.04. I am using Zoom Page but it does not remember the page settings and I have to reset each time I change. Is there a setting to make Zoom Page remember the settings or is there a Pale Moon extension that will work like NoSquint?

These are may settings (I forgot what exactly I changed when I installed it the first time).
With these Zoom Page remembers per site options.

@tman801

Your are correct NoSquint Plus does not work in Pale Moon (linux or windows). But the old NoSquint 4.1.9.1-signed.1-signed does work in Pale Moon (linux or windows). I use the old NoSquint in both linux and windows for Pale Moon (27.4.2). You can get the old NoSquint extension at the Mozilla link below.

MX Linux 23.2 (Libretto) Xfce w/ Linux Pale Moon, Linux Waterfox, Linux SeaLion, Linux Firefox
Linux Debian 12.5 (Bookworm) Xfce w/ Linux Pale Moon, Linux Waterfox, Linux SeaLion, Linux Firefox

Thanks Marcus and Night Wing. I will try both of your suggestions on both of my computers and see which one will work. Thanks again for responding.

Correction on my part.

The old NoSquint is (2.1.9.1). My ISP has been having intermittent internet connecting problems to a large area where I live off and on all day. Still the same link.

On Firefox I was using NoSquint and then Zoom Page, but with Pale Moon I just use CTRL-wheel to change the zoom and it seems to me that PM remembers the zoom setting per site by itself… Am I wrong?

With the old NoSquint that I use, you can change the zoom and text level settings in 5% increments for each.
